SIGILLUM S @ WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN 2014, Leipzig

SIGILLUM S are back at WGT, four years after their first appearance in 2010, and will be on stage with the full original line up (Eraldo Bernocchi; Paolo “NG5361” Bandera and Luca Di Giorgio) which has been covering unknown territories among extreme electronics, fringe acoustics and occultist noise since 1985.

The performance will merge many layers of their post-industrial past (…from blackened ritual drones to glowing sequence explorations…from controversial body mutation to full blast assaults….) with live interpretations of their most recent recordings, ranging from the anniversary “23/20” album to the last “GLAMOUR & DECADENCE ACROSS GALAXIES” picture disc vinyl.

Beyond every limit, they will inflate their obsession for psycho-geographic themes into a morbid collection of unprecedented novelties and forgotten sound archaeologies, exploiting at best also the unique power of Petulia Mattioli’ s devastating video work.

In a vortex of decayed sensuality and apocalyptic references, perceptions will crumble and demons will explode, dropping knowledge outside of every comfort zone…. embrace the intoxicating scent of their iridescent silence dust.
