On December 23, 2015 SIGILLUM S are going to be 30 years old….for this special occasion, the contemporary release of three different, completely new works (each one dealing with a specific view of our historical and contemporary dimensions), has been implemented and recording has already taken place...
“IRON CATASTROPHE SPECTATORS”, a
compact disc album conceived as the bastard offspring of blast moods,
enlisting the maelstrom drumming support of Ted Parsons to probe the
freakiest spaces hidden across the rotation dangers of sampled
improvisation and outsider science and recorded in March @ FAUST
STUDIO in Prague, with the engineering support of Derek
Saxenmeyer....
“ASTRONOMIC HORROR”, a vinyl long
playing album built on the most brutal and provocative sides,
elevating mayhem exploration into additional trajectories beyond
every form of previous conflict, in an unholy marriage of analogue
perversion and digital mutation...
“DEMONOLOGY” , a cassette tape
album focused on the most occult aspects, crossing the forbidden
territories of unknown existence with ancient knowledge acoustic
tools, in a deranged evocation of forgotten molecular shapes...
All 3 releases will be quite limited
(actual numbers are still being finalized), totally independent from
each other (i.e. no common material) and produced by VERBA CORRIGE,
with no download availability currently planned: actual release dates
will be announced when mixing, mastering and graphic work are
completed.
Discussions and research are going on
for possible additional productions (DVD, t-shirts [NON SERVIAM !],
etc.) as well as special live shows.....more details will follow.
Meanwhile, a
few copies of the most recent SIGILLUM S releases, such as the
"GLAMOUR & DECADENCE ACROSS GALAXIES" 12" picture
disc LP (+ download), the "STUDS AND DIVINITY" CD reissue
by MONOCHROME VISION (including also two unreleased bonus tracks) and
the “23/20” CD / 2 LP combo are still available (together with

Recording should now progress also on the new SIGILLUM S & TONY WAKEFORD collaboration "STONES DEBRIS AND SOME CULTURAL FLU", together with another brand new SIGILLUM S production, "OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA AND OTHER DEADLY MEDICAL CONDITIONS", scheduled to be issued in 2016 as vinyl 10"… the already mentioned "other" collaborative effort should move along too… more details will be communicated shortly, together with plans for publication of unreleased older material (such as "EPIDEMIOLOGY" on vinyl, etc.) .
Regarding SSHE RETINA
STIMULANTS, BLOODLUST!, after having released last year the
"BIO-CONCRETE IMPLOSION ON THE EAST SIDE" CD (an archival
documentation of the first ever SSHE RETINA STIMULANTS performance,
recorded live at Pyramid in NYC on June 2, 1996) has just put out the
SSHE RETINA STIMULANTS AND THE LAND OF THE SNOW "FREE BITCHES
LOVE – A DEFLAGRATION IN EXTRA SENSORIAL PERCEPTION"
collaboration CD… this is a very personal noise tribute to
P.NG5361.B's favorite jazz giants, specifically in terms of its
approach, its improvised construction, and its consideration of
elements of modal noise, sound and drone dynamics・
as such, the
code-breaker title directly references landmark releases, including
Ornette Coleman's "Free Jazz," Miles Davis' "Bitches
Brew" and John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme," merging
key title words into "Free Bitches Love." ….additionally,
it acknowledges the esteemed ESP-DISK' label in its "Extra
Sensorial Perception" subtitle....but, as Mark Solotroff
says....”Is it jazz? To my ears, fuck no!”.
A truly major re-issue project is then almost close to release on URASHIMA (after the SRS vinyl LP "KRIONIKA SOSHIKI", originally released by Slaughter on cassette) , that is the production on vinyl of the seminal "LISTEN AND DIE!" 6 tapes box set published by SLAUGHTER PROD. in 1997: this Italian-American Power Electronics behemoth will see again the light of the day in the shape of a huge 6xLP box set, featuring both the Italian acts (SSHE RETINA STIMULANTS, IUGULA-THOR, MURDER CORPORATION, ATRAX MORGUE, DISCORDANCE, DIKTAT) and the U.S. ones (SURGICAL STAINLESS STEEL, SLOGUN, TAINT, SKIN CRIME, DEATHPILE, BACILLUS) of the original production.... everything re-mastered for wax by P.NG5361.B.
At the same time, INFLUENCING
MACHINE RECORDS, is still working for a vinyl LP re-issue of SSHE
RETINA STIMULANTS’ s "KUSA'I", originally released by
GROSS on cassette.
A brand new SSHE RETINA
STIMULANTS tape should be then released by the new Swiss label “LUCE
SIA” in September 2015, under the title “THE COLLOIDAL SEMANTIKA
SESSIONS VOL. 1 : DERANGED GEYSERS & PUTRID FISH GENITALIA (AN
ONTOLOGICAL SURVEY OF IMPROVISED ARCTIC BURSTS & BLACKENED SHINTO
BARBECUES)".
On October 31, 2015, SSHE RETINA
STIMULANTS will perform LIVE with LE COSE BIANCHE at the OLD EUROPA
CAFÉ’s “X CONGRESSO POST INDUSTRIALE in Bologna: for this
special occasion, OEC will release a collaborative CDR "GENETIC
COLONIZATION AND DEEP WEB COMMERCE: THE SEXUAL METHOD TO MANNHEIM",
following on the hot steps of the previous SRS / LCB double tape
“CARNALITER DEVELOPMENT”.
Plans are being discussed for a
very special SSHE RETINA STIMULANTS performance with ODRZ in Milano
(December 12, 2015 @ LIGERA), while appearance at the next edition of
the DESTINATION MORGUE festival in Rome (early January 2016) is
confirmed: a very limited release "PROSTHETICK ORGANS FROM HELL
, BLACKENED PIANOS FROM URANUS" is being prepared for the
occasion too.
While an additional live is
tentatively planned also in Palermo for December , SRS recording
activities are now dedicated to completing a radical re-working of
UNCODIFIED’s “BLACK APARTMENTS “ tape, which should be released
on LP later during the year.
Additional future SRS
productions (still to be finalized) should include a new full length
album (SETTLEMENT BIBLES…) a live performance for the STEFANO
OFLORENZ’s ARTICO CULTO project, a split with MACELLERIA MOBILE DI
MEZZANOTTE , more reissues (SUBLIMATE) and a few collaborations
(MCIAA, JDV, RED SECTOR A, etc.): more details as soon as things
enfold.

On top of this, P.NG5361.B,
after having worked with MACELLERIA MOBILE DI MEZZANOTTE for the
NYLON CRIMES album and live shows, is now also planning / discussing
with ADRIANO VINCENTI a new, fully blown collaboration with
(“REALISMO INORGANICO"), as well as a “NYLON CRIMES TOO”
tape.
Now… OLD EUROPA CAFE,
ELETTRONICA RADICALE EDIZIONI and LAKE SHARK HARSH NOISE have
recently published the 2015 re-issue of IUGULA-THOR’s classic
“OPERA”….. originally published on tape in 1996 by Old Europa
Cafe, “OPERA” was a notable personal piece that blended noise and
power electronics by mixing piercing high frequencies, a subtle and
threatening vocal presence and classical music, buried under layers
of violent harsh noise….this new edition has been mastered by
P.NG5361.B. and includes as a bonus “Cuts series”, over 20
minutes of previously unreleased material, recorded in 2007/2008 for
the “Sex Cuts” sessions….the CD comes in brown digipak,
featuring and extensive essay by SAM MCKINLAY (THE RITA) and
alchemical artwork by MARCO WERTHAM.
This
has followed the ABRAXAS MORTUARY split with CRONACA NERA on
BUTCHER'S HOUSE...
but, most importantly, recordings for
the brand new IUGULA-THOR full length album “CHOOSING YOUR OWN
BRAND OF EVIL” have been also finally completed and plans for
release as vinyl LP are being defined with BLOODLUST!.
This will be followed by a
special IUGULA-THOR & SUCTION MELENA collaboration with LCB,
under the titles "ALL DREAMS ARE ONLY SELF FACIALS” (CDR) and
“SNUFF RECORDED” (tape), plus eventually also other limited
IUGULA-THOR tape editions.
Finally, in a few months
URASHIMA will also reissue on vinyl LP the IUGULA-THOR / SSHE RETINA
STIMULANTS "WRIST" split, originally released on CD by Ant
Zen.
Regarding
ERALDO BERNOCCHI, OWLS (featuring , together with ERALDO, TONY
WAKEFORD and LORENZO ESPOSITO FORNASARI) have just released a limited
vinyl 7 “, “SCARS / CHILD”, which has been presented at their
recent performance @ WGT and can be purchased at

Finally, ERALDO is also finalizing plans for an already recorded and currently shrouded in mystery solo album, in between super slow dub and hyper blackened ambient drone, together with three other collaboration (one with the Japanese ambient designer CHIHEI HATAKEYAMA, another with the Indian slide guitar master PRAKASH SONTAKKE and a third one with MANABU HIRAMOTO aka SHINKIRO) for which label options are being pursued…. more trajectories beyond the veils of alien perception and immaterial architectures.
